CBSUA-Pili Campus benchmarks BSU-GAD

Over 30 delegates from the Gender and Development (GAD) office of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Pili Campus, headed by CBSUA GAD Director Dr. Glenn E. Redecilla, visited Benguet State University to learn and adapt some of the best practices of the university in BSU Gender and Development.

Dr. Redecilla was accompanied by other officials and the GAD Core Group "Dawani" student organization led by Dawani Convener Ms. Avegail T. Temporal.

Members from the BSU GAD Technical Working Group, Dr. Imelda G. Parcasio and Mr. Ramon C. Fiangaan Jr., welcomed the delegates from CBSUA. Afterward, Dr. Parcasio and Mr. Fiangaan talked about the activities of the university that promote and advocate gender equality for its employees and students, followed by a fruitful exchange of ideas, suggestions, and questions.

After a successful discussion, Dr. Redecilla and other CBSUA officials expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome. They said that the sharing of best practices has led to added learning and they hoped that it would strengthen the future partnership between the two universities.
